I really enjoy this aquarium, the sharks are the best. I think a few different scenes would make it a lot more interesting.

I toggle between this app and my wallpaper. I use it as a screen saver. I had a similar app that is no longer compatible with Maverick. It had lots of fish to choose from and choices for the environment. Still, I enjoy watching the fish go by, even though I can predict where they’re going and what will happen next.

I purchased Desktop Aquarium over a week ago and I can say it is such a Fantastik app! The fish look so real, especially the sharks! It is so relaxing to watch, I leave it on for hours every day, the colors are so vibrant. I’m very pleased with this app.

Should be 1080P and the fish are hyper and you need a more relaxing scene. If you could get a natural Choral reaf scene it would be good. On the Crystal Aquarium the fish are blurred. All in all a good desktop but not great for the money.

Why won’t the live wallpaper span both monitor’s?

All three are great but the one with the sharks is my favorite. Best three bucks I’ve spent in a long time.

Beautiful color and interesting backgrounds. The fish swim very fast… perhaps that is how they actually swim in the wild; but looks a little too fast. It would be nice to additional scenes and controls — But I am very happy with the app!

Add a few more backgrounds/scenes (my version has 3 right now). Love the Animation though.

I had the light version and it has a screensaver option and this one does not? What is the deal? Wasted my money.

This is a great app. If I’m not careful I can watch it like I would a real aquarium. It is mesmerizing. Great detail and like the real thing it is always changing.

Love the movement on the desktop. Usually it’s just a still picture.

This is a most excellent desktop aquarium program. I got both this and the matching one that does the screen saver from the same company and love them both. It is great that there is a free lite version as that got me hooked. I appreciate the high quality of the video recordings. For years I kept many aquariums, both fresh water, marine fish and coral tanks. Currently Im tankless and this helps fill that desire. What I would like to see is the loop of the recording be majorly longer and more tanks. My suggestion would be to bring them out as individual deluxe modules where each tank is a separate app with its own tank data set (the recording) that is much longer. A full hour would be fantastic if that were possible. Maybe by splitting the tanks up that would work. This way a user could get hooked on the free lite version, buy the full tank version with the five minute loops and later as they decide what they really want buy the deluxe versions with the much longer loops. The trick would be having the apps all be able to share data.

the application is great it works well only wish it had a freshwater tank scenes in it other than that its great.

This is an good app when viewed as a living wallpaper background, however I cannot seem to get the screensaver to start after a period of inactivity. It works as advertised when I manually open the app, but that defeats the purpose of using this as a screensaver when I have to step away from my computer for a period of time. I own the Living Wallpaper, Living Weather, Weather Dock, and Fireplace apps from the same company, and this is the only one that does not work as advertised. I’ve checked the settings in Preferences and nothing seems to work. As such, it’s not worth the price.

This is a great app. I enjoy watching all the little fish going about their business and the sharks going about theirs. And the best part is that I have a living aquarium with beautiful fish….don’t have to feed them or clean a smelly aquarium.

Absolute realism. Looks great and runs perfectly on my 12” Mackbook. Runs on startup (or not) depending upon what I prefer, and settings are quickly accessed and easily changed.

Ive had other Desktop Aquariums and paid more for them. This is one great App.

Really great App ! Very cool to set as desktop. Wish there were more scene options and def in need of higher resolution. 720p is not so HD anymore. Hope to see this App develop further !
